A yummy dinner, that's made us quite full and means a lot of yummy leftovers

I'm alive. I'm alllllive!

Hello everyone!

I am alive, I just rarely update... Why? Because, to be honest, I don't fit in with most 20-something bloggers. I can't cook... I love gaming... I'm a complete geek/nerd... My wife and I don't have kids, nor do we really want to adopt right now... I don't have a career.

However, none of these things are bad things. In fact, all of them make me VERY VERY happy. Except the career part. The thing is, I just don't know where to look for other geeky gamer girls... Who also want to talk about cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc.

But oh wells!

Jen and I have started a new hobby... D&D... To be honest, I am shy as shit (with some stuff.) I am extremely nervous about talking like my character... However, I am SO excited to start this new hobby.

Also, WE GOT OUR FIRST CHRISTMAS TREE as a couple! IT IS BEAUTIFUL!!!

It's white, with multi-color lights. And ornament wise, we have our collection of year ornaments. Every year we get an ornament. We have one for our first year, when we were dating and all the way up to now... This one is a silver heart with "Today, Tomorrow, Always" on it and below that "2009" ^_^

Anyway, we also bought blue, silver and silver glitter ball ornaments, pink disco ball ornaments (I think a white tree with pink, teal/blue and purple ornaments will be AWESOME), two silver glitter dove ornaments, blue tinsel, gold tinsel, pine cones and a beautiful star, with holly leaves and berries on it.

Soooooooo so happy!!!

Lately I've just loved white, pink, teal and purple together. ^_^

Hello (Cupcake!)

Hello everyone! (Does anyone even read this blog anymore?)

I'm back! I took a break from blogging, as Jenny and I had gotten a new job, we made some new friends, I got a(nother) cold, we gave up our ferret and our job (which was quite enjoyable, actually) ended... Which brings me back to blogging.

We've been applying to various places, hoping some new (and awesome) job will come along. So, fingers crossed!

Also, for our anniversary, my sisters (who live far, far away) sent us a big box of gifts. And the theme was... BAKING! Baking cupcakes, to be exact. They even sent us the "Hello Cupcake!" book. Tonight we made little (and big) cupcakes, with sweet delicious frosting and yellow marshmallows. They were shaped like popcorn and then put in paper popcorn "cups."

They came out AWESOME! And sooo adorable!

I'll have to take pictures. *nods*

Anyway, that is all for now. Oh yes, I also updated my blog so it doesn't look so... Summer-y.

I do believe it is time to give my blog a more autumn-themed/Halloween themed background. I shall be getting on that shortly.

I love various blog background sites, I just *need* to have my personal things, well, personalized. So I'll be working on making my own background again. So hopefully that'll look nice.

Work has been interesting, we've been having a really good time for the most part. I'm over my cold, YAY! And Jenny made amazing pumpkin pie from scratch.

My MIL also bought us ADORABLE new plates. Oh my gosh, they are so cute. We picked them out and they're just... ADORABLE!

We also got a month of WoW each. HURRAY!!! *dances*

Hello!

Hello! Angie here. Wow, okay, so it has been a while since I last updated... Here's a small list of what is going on.

1. I'm battling a cold. Tuesday at work, I went from feeling fine to having an achy, scratchy throat. That night, I couldn't even sit up without feeling shitty and so I laid down. I slept all night and most of the day, getting up at around 4PM on Wednesday. My nose was all stuffy and runny. I felt hot and sore and just plain BLAH.

I decided to have some ramen, oranges and grapes. Plus tons of mints and cough drops for my throat. I slept off and on and barely did anything else. My wife, being the amazing woman she is, talked me into at least trying some Alka-Seltzer. So I did, which did help quite a bit. I started feeling icky again and spent all last night and this morning, going between sleeping, waking up to take another cough drop, to eating grapes and then going back to bed. I tried to game, but I was just too out of it.

I am feeling better now, luckily, but not 100%. I am still very sore, my head feels a bit hot and I still have that "buzzing" feeling in my head. My nose is still a little stuffy too. But at least I am feeling a lot better.

2. Jennie and I picked up Halo 3: ODST - OH MY GOD! It is AWESOME! We've been having tons of fun.

3. Our kitten is scared to death of pumpkins. This is his first Halloween and he was born in Feb., so I have no idea why. If he sees them, he starts hissing and running around!
