Excited for the New Year!

I can't help it.

Every New Year's Eve excites me. It also helps because I normally follow through with my New Years resolutions. In fact, since 2007, I have completed or worked on every resolution I set for myself.

When I think of the New Year, I feel energized. I feel like I can accomplish things. And that's a great feeling. I plan on making special paper, purple with silver stars, to put my resolutions on this year. I may make one of the same color for Jenny, or maybe the paper will be pink. Not sure yet. ^_^

On New Year's Eve, Jenny's mom is going to serve fresh tacos and for dessert, ice cream. Mmmm.

I still need to post what I got for Christmas. Maybe later today. ^_^

I just think this New Year will truly be empowering and I hope I'm right. I'm excited, are you?

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!!

I haven't updated in forever, however I still log in at least once a week and read the blogs I follow. I also redesigned my blog and header (again.)

Anyway, as Jenny and I live with her parents, our Christmas decorating is limited to one room; our bedroom. This year we bought our first Christmas tree, which is all white with multicolor lights and the ornament colors are: Hot pink (disco balls!), Blue, Silver and Glitter Silver. ^_^

The tinsel is blue/silver and gold, our star is frosted and has holly leaves and berries on it and our tree skirt is pale gold with glittery gold swirls all over it.

Jen and I also have a tradition of buying an ornament for our tree (even before we had one together!) for every year. We have one from 2004, our first Christmas as a couple, up until now!

Anyway, here are some pictures!!!

Our tree!

Our 2009 ornament

Christmas Ornaments: Glittery doves, heart wreath with bell, Snoopy on a hamburger, white crocheted kitty in a stocking, our first Christmas ornament that reads "Our First Christmas 2004", a little cardinal and his bird house and two silver doves. <3 them all.

Christmas Ornaments 2: Little cat ornament that our sisters sent us, one of our pine cones, a little bear in a glittery red holiday dress and hat, the beautiful lighthouse ornament Jenny gave me years ago (I love lighthouses!), and another Snoopy ornament. ^_^ <2 them all too!

Our star!

Our entertainment system! And as I've mentioned before, we're gamers/geeks. ^_^

Santa Light that Jen got from Avon.

Santa door hanger!

Our window decorations, all hand made by Jenny's mom, except for the stocking in the middle which is full of cat toys for our kitty. ^_^

Have a Merry Christmas, a Happy Holiday and a great Winter Season!
