YAY!!! Today is Jennie's 23rd birthday. ^_^ Happy Birthday, Jennie!
I am going to post various lyrics that I feel fit her, as well as 23 reasons why she is amazing and why I love her, so, so much. ^_^
"She wants her nails painted black
She wants the toy in the crackerjack
She wants to ride the bull at the rodeo
She wants to wear my shirt to bed
She wants to make every stray a pet
N' Drive around in my truck with no place to go
But she needs to feel that fire
The one that lets her know for sure
She's everything I want and more
Her real desire, Is to know I'd walk alone out on the wire
To make her feel that fire" - Feel That Fire by Dierks Bentley.
1. She has an amazing soul. She is a kind and loving girl. There is nothing like seeing her help a customer while we work, or how she acts when she is around family. There is nothing like seeing her play with our pets, nor nothing as amazing as when she is there for me (which is always <3).
2. She is beautiful, inside and out. On the outside, she is beautiful. She is hit on often, too. However, I am the one lucky enough to be with her. Her beauty amazes me. Her warm brown eyes make me melt, they are eyes I love to look into. I feel as if she can see into my soul. I love her smile and I love how it makes me feel like I am standing out in the sunshine, as if a warm, comforting blanket surrounds me and makes me feel safe and secure. I love her for everything she has on the outside and everything she has and is, in the inside. She is funny and smart, she is tough and she is feminine. She is shy, but when she opens up, she is everyone's best friend. She can make me happy when I am sad and she can make me even happier, when I am already happy.
3. She is smart. Not only is she book smart and not only does she know a lot (about everything, history, science, math, English...) But she is smart about people. How they feel, what they are like. She can also start something she has never done before, such as a new recipe or putting something together and she perfects it. She and I kid around, talk like leet girls when we feel like being silly, or we'll act goofy... But when she speaks, she speaks with intelligence.
4. Her humor. She can laugh and have fun and enjoy a good joke. She and I can tease and "make fun" of each other all day and enjoy it. She can tell funny stories like no other. I love her humor, especially because we truly get each other. And I love laughing with her. She has an adorable laugh...
5. She is creative. Whether it is a new website, or building a roller coaster on one of our games, she has amazing talent. Especially in digital graphics and web design. But she is also an amazing writer. Her stories and poems capture me, they make me smile and they make me think. I feel as if I am in the setting she writes. She also is very good at drawing, even if she does not think so...
"She's a Saturn with a sunroof
With her brown hair a-blowing
She's a soft place to land
And a good feeling knowing
She's a warm conversation
That I wouldn't miss for nothing
She's a fighter when she's mad
And she's a lover when she's loving
[Chorus]
And she's everything I ever wanted
And everything I need
I talk about her, I go on and on and on
'Cause she's everything to me
She's a Saturday out on the town
And a church girl on Sunday
She's a cross around her neck
And a cuss word 'cause its Monday
She's a bubble bath and candles
Baby come and kiss me
She's a one glass of wine
And she's feeling kinda tipsy
She's the giver I wish I could be
And the stealer of the covers
She's a picture in my wallet
Of my unborn children's mother
She's the hand that I'm holding
When I'm on my knees and praying
She's the answer to my prayer
And she's the song that I'm playing" - She's Everything by Brad Paisley
6. She has an amazing aura of elegance. It doesn't matter if she is wearing a beautiful, expensive gown or a cute t-shirt and jeans, she has this amazing aura of elegance surrounding her. She reminds me of a princess and though this may sound odd and make no sense to anyone, when I see her, no matter what she is doing; I feel like she should be dressed in gorgeous colors of gold and other "royal" colors. I feel like she should be sipping the finest champagne or drinking the tastiest of wines. I feel like pearls or diamonds should be adorning her. Like I said, that feeling may not make sense to anyone, but it is a daily feeling for me. And I love it!
7. She has guts. She rode a bull, in front of a crowd of people, not knowing what was going to happen to her. But she cowgirl-ed up and did it. And yes, this was a real bull and a pretty dangerous one too, as one of the professionals rode him the next week.
8. She has many different interests. She is an amazing cook and a fabulous gamer, she is a lover of shopping and she enjoys camping too. She can play a mean game of chess and she can relax with a funny movie. She has traveled all over the United States and parts of Canada. She has amazing stories from when she was a little girl to know and she, and she and I, keep making more. She is also a professional at fashion and putting on/picking makeup... For herself and others (like me!) And she is getting into theatrical makeup as well.
9. She truly gets me and she is a romantic. She and I have our share of little jokes, sayings, song, etc. that are just between us. We have can tell each other anything and never feel weird. I have no secrets from her and vice versa. We are completely open and honest to each other at all times. We are so much alike in so many ways, but in the small differences we do have, they blend together perfectly. She and I have the same fears and goals, we believe in each other and support each other. She also always has known what is important to me. From day one, she has proved that she knows me heart and soul. Even when we first started dating. She has always known just what to say, the best gift to give, the perfect time for a joke and the best time for a hug. She has always listened to me, surprising me with a gift or a dinner or fast food or a special poem, for holidays. Even if I mentioned it months before. And sometimes, she does it just because.
10. She is very innocent. However, she is not a doormat either. She can see the world how it should be, and she can find the good in people. Her feelings are touched when she hears a story of an abandoned animal finding the perfect family. She has forgiven people who hurt her and she stays out of drama or anything that may hurt someone else.
11. She would rather stay home and curl up with a good book, or play her favorite game, then go out and drink or party. Another thing we share. The best part is, we are best friends. We can enjoy quiet nights at home, or go shopping... Another thing she loves. We can go to movies and restaurants and never get tired of each other.
12. She is a hard worker. Being her wife and co-worker, I hear the many compliments our supervisors and manager give her. She is always being praised. She has fun while working, but she is serious. She does what she is there to do, while making friends in the process.
13. She is a great driver. I truly think that I would have been in many accidents if it was not her behind the wheel. If it wasn't for her, we WOULD have been hit at least three, four times this year. But she is smart and knows what to do, to avoid accidents. And I am very, very thankful for that.
14. She is a dreamer. She dreams of what our future will be like, whether it is something fun we'll do tomorrow, or what our dream home will be. And not only does she dream, she plans. And she does. She makes her dreams become a reality.
15. I love her arms and hands. I love when she holds me close. I love to feel safe, secure and protected. I love to feel wanted and needed. I love the warmth and the closeness of being hugged by her and by hugging her back.
16. She is tough. She is a strong girl. She puts up with more than anyone should... From family, from co-workers, from friends. She is tough as in she doesn't back down from a hard job, even if it means doing hard labor, like lifting heavy shelves or climbing tall ladders.
17. She is feminine. A bubble bath, a cute new dress, her makeup collection... I love all the little feminine things she does. I love watching her in an outfit that makes her feel like a million bucks. I love when she tries a new bubble bath and the smell of it on her skin. I love her collection of relaxing candles and incense. I love her pink PJs. And I love her stuffed animals. I love being married to a girl, but not just any girl, her.
18. I love when she is confident. And when she has confidence in herself. She doesn't think she is as beautiful as I do. But when something makes her feel great, she glows even more than usual. And I love seeing that side of her.
19. She makes me feel important. If I put on a new outfit or anything she loves, if I cook a nice meal or had a hard day, she makes me feel like I am all that matters. She will drop everything to rub my back or make me a bath, she will listen and she will help, she will tell me I'm gorgeous and she'll surprise me with little things. It is great to feel loved and needed and beautiful.
20. I love her kisses. They make me feel alive. She is an amazing kisser and lover!
"Lying here with you
Listening to the rain
Smile just to see the smile upon your face
These are the moments I thank God that I'm alive
And these are the moments I'll remember all my life
I've found all I've waited for
And I could not ask for more
Looking in your eyes
Seeing all I need
Everything you are is everything in me
These are the moments
I know heaven must exist
And these are the moments
I know all I need is this
I've found all I've waited for, yeah
And I could not ask for more
I could not ask for more than this time together
I could not ask for more than this time with you" - I could not ask for more by Sara Evans.
21. I love how she fits in my arms. It is like we were made for cuddling each other.
22. I truly love that even though we are both adults, the holidays bring us so much joy and places like Disney Land and Disney World are magical to us. I love sharing breakfast while watching a cute cartoon in the morning. Neither of us have to spend all day talking about "adult stuff" like bills, work, etc. We can relax and enjoy life.
"If there were no words
No way to speak
I would still hear you
If there were no tears
No way to feel inside
I'd still feel for you
And even if the sun refuse to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart
Until the end of time
You're all i need
My love, my valentine" - My Valentine by Martina McBride.
23. And what do I love the most? Jennie. Everything about her. Everything she is and isn't. Everything she wants and needs and hopes for. Everything she dreams. How she walks and talks (her voice is like music to my ears), the way she feels and smells. The taste of her kisses. The way that her laugh and her smile can make me grin, because it is so adorable and warm and it makes me melt. I love that she cries at sad movies and happy endings and that she cares about everyone, including animals. I love the fact that while we do not have children, if we ever do, she would be a fantastic mother. I love that she is there for me when I need her and she doesn't make me feel silly, no matter what. I love her hobbies and interests, how she sleeps and how she looks in the morning. I love her, everything about her. Her body, her mind, her heart and her soul. And I will, forever.
I love you, Jennie. My best friend, my wife, my angel, the love of my life, my soul mate. Have a great birthday, sweetheart.
